Professor Salvatore, who trained as an experimental social psychologist, studies and teaches about how we think about human difference and perceived difference. She has published peer-reviewed research and commentary in Psychological Science, Sex Roles, Analyses of Social Issues and Public Policy, and other journals, and is Associate Editor of the British Journal of Social Psychology.
