Summer 2021 Collegiate Riding Camps
for high schoolers at Sweet Briar College

Sweet Briar College offers three-day summer riding camps for high school students at the renowned Harriet Howell Rogers Riding Center. Students will improve horsemanship while learning how to set competitive goals as part of a team experience.

Set in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, riders will have mounted sessions, video review and discussions about collegiate riding opportunities with coaches and current riders.

Collegiate Riding Camps

Camp I: May 14-16 (begins Friday at noon)
Camp II: June 4-6 (begins Friday at noon)
Fee: $600

These camps are open to any and all entrants limited only by numbers, age, grade level, and/or gender. The collegiate camps are open to intermediate to advanced level highschool riders, 14-18 years of age. The camp schedule tentatively runs from 8am until 5pm daily. All participants must be supervised by a parent or guardian outside of the camp teaching schedule. Regretfully, we are unable to mount any riders over 180 pounds.
