Winter 2022 Collegiate Riding Camps
for high schoolers at Sweet Briar College

Sweet Briar College offers winter riding camps for high school students at the renowned Harriet Howell Rogers Riding Center. Students will improve horsemanship while learning how to set competitive goals as part of a team experience. 

Set in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, riders will have mounted sessions, video review and discussions about collegiate riding opportunities with coaches and current riders. 

Winter Collegiate Riding Camp: Dec. 3-4, 2022

Fee: $500

Sweet Briar College is pleased to offer an Elite Equestrian Clinic for high-school aged riders, riding at an advanced level, who are interested in experiencing riding at the collegiate level.

Tentative Schedule

Dec. 3, 2022

  • 10 a.m. Tour of campus
  • 11:30 a.m. Registration and lunch
  • 12:30 p.m. Riding session
  • 5 p.m. Dinner and discussion

Dec. 4, 2022

  • 8 a.m. Arrive at riding center
  • 9-11:30 a.m. Riding session
  • 12 p.m. Lunch
  • 1-2:45 p.m. Riding session
  • 3:30 p.m. Camp ends
