With over 7,300 participants representing more than 280 colleges and universities since 1948, JYF is incredibly proud of its alumni and their many accomplishments.

JYF is committed to supporting your needs and we look forward to staying connected.  We are here to provide the documentation needed to further your education or pursue a new job, help you stay connected with us and each other and keep your experience alive through the annual JYF Alumni Magazine, in particular. We appreciate your updates, value your extraordinary support and love hearing your stories.

We know that, for many of you, your junior year (or semester) in France remains one of the most important of your lives. JYF is grateful to foster that experience through the continued support of our alumni.

In their own words, alumni share what they learned from JYF:

The cliché, “best time of my life” definitely applies to a year with JYF!  Yes, your French will vastly improve and you attend incredible educational institutions, but the best part is enjoying life in another country.  The friendships you make are incredible, some even become family.  Though you have the JYF program supporting you, you can have as much autonomy as you would like.  It is definitely a self learning experience and you get to make this life step in one of the best cities in the world!  Along with classes, life with host families, and enjoying Parisian life, JYF plans some great excursions around France.  If you have the opportunity, definitely spend your Junior year with JYF.
