1348. The Bubonic Plague rages through Europe. In Auxerre, France, a troupe of clowns, led by a joyous renegade monk, fights for laughter and liberation in the face of oppression and death. “Red Noses” is an epic tragi-comedy about community in a time of crisis and—when the plague finally ends—the dangers of returning to “normal.”
