The sociology major at SBC provides a solid foundation for a wide array of careers. Recent graduates have entered a variety of fields, some include: education, youth counseling, community work, and advertising. Others have gone on to pursue graduate degrees. A BA in sociology is excellent preparation for future graduate work in sociology in order to become a professor, researcher, or applied sociologist.
