Be sure to give your new address to everyone you want to hear from while you are at Sweet Briar. When you arrive, go to the U.S. post office in the Meta Glass lobby (first floor) to complete your P.O. box application and receive your combination. The cost is $52 for the year and is billed by the business office. All new students will be notified of their P.O. box number before arriving to campus. Your box number will stay the same for your entire stay at Sweet Briar.

Packages will be delivered to the post office. Please note that packages may be sent in advance. However, packages will be stored in a non-climate-controlled area. DO NOT send items that are sensitive to extreme heat (i.e. soap, makeup, etc.). An email will be sent to your Sweet Briar email to inform you that your packages have arrived.

You may also ship domestic packages from Sweet Briar. The post office provides shipping services via UPS and FedEx during college business hours. There is a small handling fee per package(s). These transactions are processed at the rear of the post office.
