VCCA Offers Writing, Painting Workshops and Tours in France

Sweet Briar’s neighbor, the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, is offering the following workshops and cultural tours this summer and fall: “The Literary Lifestyle (and France) on 500 Words a Day,” May 12-18; “Painting Workshop,” June 9-13; “When in France: Writing Cultural Differences,” June 16-22; “Fiction Workshop,” June 16-22; “En Plein Air: Writing and Painting in Southwest France,” July 22-28; “Plein Air Painting Workshop,” Sept. 5-16, and “Sculpture and Architectural Tour,” featuring SBC art history professor Tracy Hamilton, Sept. 29-Oct. 4.
