Thomas Jefferson made a visit to Sweet Briar College on Friday, Sept. 14. Well, sort of. Bill Barker, who has spent the past 20 years portraying the third U.S. president, was a guest at the Florence Elston Inn prior to making appearances at Amherst County High School and the Amherst Historical Society. While he was here, he also toured Sweet Briar House and posed for a few photos.
