On Dec. 2, four Sweet Briar staff members put on their leather, jumped on their hogs and rode in the Lynchburg Toy Run, a charity event benefiting the Presbyterian Children’s Home (http://www.phfs.org/).

Those who participated were libraries director John Jaffe; telecom technician C.B. Rickmond; Blaise Whittle, administrative assistant in the PE department, and campus safety officer Brad Wilson. They rode with Southern Cruisers Riding Club’s Hill City Chapter.

The Toy Run raised about $3,000 and has been an annual event for more than 25 years.
