Modern Languages and Literatures Welcomes Michael Brunelle

Michael Brunelle

He is a certified translator with the American Translators Association and a member of the Translators and Interpreters Guild. He has translated dozens of books about art and architecture. His current projects include books on watercolor technique and drawing. He is also a product design and development consultant, and for many years was director of new product development at Virginia Metalcrafters in Waynesboro.

Michael lives in Charlottesville with wife Beatriz Cortabarria, who is from the Basque region of Spain, and children Jone, 17, and Michael, 11.
