Habitat 5K is Nov. 10

Amherst County Habitat for Humanity will host its third annual Habitat 5K Walk/Run on Saturday, Nov. 10. The race starts at 8:30 a.m. in the Sweet Briar College Quad.

There will be two water stops on the 3.2-mile course, which consists of rolling hills and beautiful views.

Awards will be given to the top three male and female runners as well as the top three finishers in each age group. There also will be door prizes.

The cost of entry is $15 before Oct. 31 and $18 thereafter. T-shirts will be given to the first 100 entrants.
