Chinese, Arabic Classes Offered to Faculty, Staff

Sweet Briar is once again fortunate to have Chinese and Arabic instructors through the Fulbright Program. Brenda Qian is teaching Chinese 103 (beginning Chinese) and 105 (continuing study in Chinese) and Rahma Al Busafi is teaching equivalent courses in Arabic.

These are one-credit-hour enrichment courses dealing with language and culture, and we hope faculty will bring them to their students’ attention. Faculty and staff also are encouraged to attend these classes, either for credit or as an auditor.
