SBC Chapter of National German Honor Society Inducts Students

The Lambda Eta Chapter of Delta Phi Alpha, the National German Honor Society, inducted two Sweet Briar students during an initiation ceremony held April 30 at the College’s Cochran Library.

The students selected for membership were Tiffany Meadows ’08 and Carlisle Adams ’10.

The national honor society was founded in 1927, and Lambda Eta was established at Sweet Briar in 2001. According to its constitution, Delta Phi Alpha recognizes excellence in the study of German and promotes the study of the German language, literature and civilization.
