Ramadan is the holy lunar month of fasting, love, humility, sharing, caring, and faith. The time has come for SBC’s annual Ramadan heritage series! Ramadan 2024 started on the evening of March 10th and will finish (most likely) on Tuesday April 9th, where we then celebrate Eid for 3 days.

Please join us by fasting from drink and food with us Muslims today and celebrate with an evening iftar. Stop by our table during lunch to learn more about this holiday. Fasting this day will begin at 5:55am and end at 7:29pm.

Please eat and drink before fasting, and if sick, pregnant, or on your menstrual cycle… PLEASE abstain from fasting. People who cannot fast in Islam contribute with something called “Fidya” which is a religious donation to help those in need. For example, one would give a meal to someone in need for each day they do not fast.

We invite all to celebrate with us!
