The Southwestern Virginia Hunter Jumper Association held it 25th Annual Show and Medal Finals the weekend of Nov. 8-10 at the Virginia Horse Center in Lexington. Sixteen Sweet Briar riders participated, including members of the show team and independent competitors.

College riders did well in the Medal Finals, taking four of the top 10 finishes, while 2012 alumna Lauren Perhala claimed a fifth. McKenzie Canard, a Lynchburg College student riding with Sweet Briar at the show, was 10th on her horse Jet Stream.
