Sweet Briar Victorious Over Cedar Crest College

The Sweet Briar Vixen soccer team was victorious today over Cedar Crest College at the Bryn Mawr Tournament in Pennsylvania.  The Vixens won by a score of 2-1. Click here for full box scores.

 

In addition to the win, these Sweet Briar players were named to the All-Tournament Team:

  • Seanne Weekes, sophomore, goalkeeper, from San Jose, Calif.
  • Alison Lifka, first-year player, midfielder, from Asheville, N.C.
  • Helen Phillips, senior, midfielder, from Lynchburg, Va.

The next match-up for the Vixens will be on Thursday September 10 at Hollins University with a 5:00 pm start time.
