Sweet Briar's new president, Jo Ellen Parker, is blogging about her experiences as the College's 10th commander in chief. "I'll be blogging my first year as president of Sweet Briar here," she writes. "I'm a novice blogger and a novice president, so I regard this as an experiment and an adventure!"
So far, Parker has written about spending the Fourth of July in Central Virginia, including trips to local historical sites and ponderings about the College's complex history; Sweet Briar's recent designation as a "Great Place to Work"; and the economics of higher education.
