Sweet Briar College continues to monitor the swine flu situation — locally, nationally and internationally. The College also is consulting with other colleges and universities, the local health department and the Council of Independent Colleges in Virginia.
As of May 1, there have been two confirmed cases in Virginia. There also have been cases reported in more than a dozen other states. We are sharing information provided by the Centers for Disease Control about swine flu mostly for informational purposes and to provide some basic tips on how to reduce risks of illness.
