Registration is now open for the seventh-annual Kids In College. The week-long enrichment program for current third through eighth grade students will be held June 15 through 19 at Sweet Briar College.
The half-day program runs from 9 a.m. to noon each day, and students select two workshops in which to participate during the week. Classes are small - 10 to 16 students. Comprised of SBC faculty, staff and alumnae and other local professionals, KIC instructors build upon each day's activities to provide a thorough exploration of the topic.
This year, the following classes will be offered:
Introduction to Golf
Improve your Golf
Learn to Tap Dance
Chess
Pinhole Photography
Make Art with Nature, Part I
Make Art with Nature, Part II

Registration is $90 per child, which includes a KIC T-shirt and all classroom supplies. The lone exception to this is an additional $10 fee required for the swordfighting class.
Deadline for registration is Friday, May 29, and classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information, course descriptions or to download the registration form, visit the Kids In College Web page or contact Pam Simpson at psimpson@sbc.edu or (434) 381-6443.
