The Sweet Briar lacrosse team hosted the Greensboro College (GC) Pride on Tuesday.

Although the Vixen's lost the fight by a score of 12-20, scoring was disbursed throughout the offense.  Vixen sophomore Stewart Hulfish (Alexandria, Va.) had the team high of four goals and one assist.

Megan Behrle ('09/Manassas, Va.) scored three goals with three assists.

Sarah Winstead ('12/ Apex, N.C.  ) and Meredith Newman ('09/Charlottesville, Va.) each had two goals.

First year Vixen Mallory Lengel (Great Mills, Md.) contributed one goal.

The lacrosse squad will be on the road for the next three games starting with Saturday at Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) team Virginia Wesleyan College at 3:30 p.m.
