As part of its Black History Month programming, Sweet Briar College is hosting Soul Food Night from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 11 in Prothro dining hall. The menu includes, among other things, southern fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, broccoli casserole, corn pudding, country style collards, stewed tomatoes and fried catfish.
The dinner is open to the public and also includes trivia, prizes and a movie. The cost for the public is $7 for adults, $3.50 for children ages 3 to 11 and free for children 2 and younger. The cost for Sweet Briar community members and their families is $5.75 for adults, $3 for children and free for children 2 and younger.
