The music department at Sweet Briar College will present its Fall Student Music Recital at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 11 in Memorial Chapel. Admission is free and open to the public.
The program will be composed of performances by Sweet Briar students who have taken applied lessons in voice, piano and orchestral instruments, and includes solo and ensemble repertoire.
Among those on the program are Madeleine MacIntire ’10, flute student of Lynn Buck; Caroline Sapp ’09 and Ginger Tibbs ’09, piano students of Anna Billias; Emi Masuda, Missy McCleary ’12 and Courtney “Nikki” Taylor ’10, piano students of Rebecca McCord; Victoria Nilsson ’10 and Maribeth Turner ’10, piano students of Nick Ross; Temma Clark-Braverman ’11, Carina Finn ’10, Mariah Hoelz ’11, Katie Johnstone ’10, Kate Lydin ’09, Mary Massie ’10, Sarah Schofield ’11, Mary Susan Sinclair-Kuenning ’09, Amanda Helms ’12 and Jocelyn Stephens ’11, voice students of Marcia Thom; Noah Delea of Lynchburg College and Elizabeth Wise ’11, guitar students of Rafael Scarfullery; and Micaela Weiss ’09, harp student of Virginia Schweninger.
