The Sweet Briar Promise outlines our distinctive approach for providing meaningful, enduring education for women. It includes:
Sweet Briar College's annual ghost tours will be held Monday, Oct. 27 through Friday, Oct. 31. The 45-minute tours will leave the Sweet Briar Museum every half hour between 4 and 7 p.m. and end in Cochran Library's Browsing Room, where refreshments will be served.
Led by members of the Chung Mung and Tau Phi tap clubs, the tours will include stories about Sweet Briar's founder, Indiana Fletcher Williams, her daughter, Daisy, and their favorite places to make ghostly appearances.
The cost is $5 for the public and free for Sweet Briar students, alumnae, faculty and staff. While not required, tour reservations also can be made by calling the museum.
