The Sweet Briar Vixen volleyball squad traveled to Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Va. The road trip did not fare well for the team, losing three straight games to the Yellow Jackets. The game scores were 12-25, 17-25, 23-25.
Highlights for the Vixens include offensive attacks by Cassidy Jones ('11/Rustburg, Va.) with nine kills and six by teammate Ashley Winters ('11/Mechanicsville, Va.). Winters also had a strong defensive effort with 14 digs.
The volleyball team will be at Randolph College on Thursday Oct. 9 at 6:30 p.m.
