The Sweet Briar Vixens hosted the Wasps of Emory & Henry in volleyball at Williams Gymnasium. The Vixens lost in three games with scores of 17-25, 9-25, and 17-25.
The bright spots for the Sweet Briar team were sophomore Ashley Winters ('11/Mechanicsville, Va.) with 15 digs and seven kills and teammate Brooke Moody ('11/Concord, Va.) with 10 assists and 10 digs.
The Sweet Briar College Homecoming Alumnae game will be on Saturday Sept. 27 at 3:00 p.m.
