The Sweet Briar Vixens volleyball team played Bridgewater College today at Bridgewater. The Vixens lost 0-3 with scores of 12-25, 14-25, and 23-25. Vixen sophomore Ashley Winters (Mechanicsville, Va.) contributed defensively with 17 digs.

The second game for the Vixens at Bridgewater College was agains Southern Virginia University. SVU won in three with scores of 8-25, 18-25, and 14-25. Sweet Briar teammates Cassidy Jones ('11/Rustburg, Va.) made five kills, Brooke Moody ('11/Concord, Va.) had 10 assists, and Ashley Winters came up with eight digs toward the Sweet Briar effort.

The Vixens will host Emory & Henry at home at 6:309 p.m. on Tuesday Sept. 23 in Williams Gymnasium.
