The Vixens lost tonight 3-0 at Lynchburg College. Scores were 14-25, 20-25, and 16-25.
Team effort offensively by Dori Rucker ('09/Virginia Beach, Va.) with eight kills, and sophomore Brooke Moody (Concord, Va.) with 14 assists. Defensive specialist Laura Jett ('11/Littleton, Colo.) had 10 digs and the team had 10 total block assists.
The volleyball team travels to Bridgewater College on Friday Sept. 19 for matches against PPC at 4:00 p.m. and Randolph College at 6:00 p.m. On Saturday Sept. 20 at Bridgewater College at 12:00 and Southern Virginia University at 3:00 p.m. to wrap up the weekend.
