GREENSBORO, N.C. - Vixens sophomore Virginia Edahl (Charlotte, N.C./Providence) and senior Caroline Byrd (Virginia Beac, Va./Norfolk Academy) each stretched their singles win streaks to four on Monday afternoon, but it was not enough to topple host Guilford College. Sweet Briar lost the match 5-3 to finish the regular season with a 4-8 mark.
Sweet Briar plays host to the 2008 ODAC Women's Tennis Championships this weekend. Tournament play gets underway at 9 a.m. on Friday.
