VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Sweet Briar tennis suffered a 5-1 loss at the hands of the Marlins in a rain-shortened conference match at Virginia Wesleyan. Picking up the win for the Vixens was the doubles team of senior Michelle Raymond (Chester, Va./Thomas Dale) and junior Stephanie Nance (Moneta, Va./Staunton River). The pair took their match at No. 3, 8-4.
Sweet Briar continues its roadtrip tomorrow as the team faces Randolph-Macon College at 1 p.m.
