GREENSBORO, N.C. – Vixen lacrosse fell by a 17-3 score on Wednesday evening as Sweet Briar took on Guilford College under the lights in conference action. Vixens first-year Stewart Hulfish (Alexandria, Va./Bishop Ireton) and senior Ellie Donahue (Richmond, Va./Trinity Episcopal) each put up tallies on the board in the first half for Sweet Briar.
Junior Megan Behrle (Manassas, Va./Stonewall Jackson) connected on a pass from D.J. Abernathy (Annandale, Va./W.T. Woodson) at the start of the second half to net Sweet Briar’s third and final goal of the contest.
Sweet Briar returns home to host Lynchburg College on Saturday at 1 p.m.
