The Nations United Club and the international studies office will sponsor an International Banquet from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 11 in the Prothro Main Dining Room.
The international dinners are an opportunity for Sweet Briar community cooks to show off their culinary skills. Typically 50 to 100 different community members prepare dishes to share.
Those interested in contributing a dish are asked to e-mail Tiffany Cummings. Dishes should be approximately the size of a lasagna pan. Faculty and staff who bring a dish may dine with their immediate family members at no charge, otherwise regular Prothro meal rates apply.
Handmade jewelry also will be available for purchase at the dinner, with proceeds benefiting Nations United, a club that promotes international culture and issues on campus.
For more information on the banquet or Nations United, contact Cummings at tcummings@sbc.edu or 381-6362.
