Kathryn Whittemore, a Sweet Briar College student from Baltimore, will perform her senior piano recital at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 22. The concert will be held in the College’s Memorial Chapel and admission is free.

Kathryn WhittemoreWhittemore, a double major in math and music with a minor in computer science, has been playing piano since age 5. At the recital, she will perform works by Ludwig van Beethoven, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Frederic Chopin, Claude Debussy and Denes Agay, and a duet of a Charles Gounod piece with piano instructor Rebecca McCord.
