Spring 2008 looks to be an exciting season for Vixen athletics as lacrosse, softball and tennis aim to build upon last spring’s successes.
Softball kicks off Saturday, Feb. 23, at Meredith. The Vixens return seven starters, including junior Melissa Viar (Madison Heights, Va./Amherst County) who hit .333 for the Vixens’ last season and led the team in runs scored. Last year’s core are joined by a talented group of first-years who are poised to make an impact.
