Since the group was formed in the Netherlands in 1978, Quink has performed in prestigious concert series and venues around the world. Noted for precision and beautiful sound, the singers have developed a style that allows them to illustrate the great variety of a cappella music. The group’s repertoire varies widely and includes music from the Renaissance and Baroque eras, as well as works by Romantic composers.
The concert is part of the extensive lineup of performing and visual arts planned for Sweet Briar’s first Fringe Festival. It is the only Fringe event that requires admission. All other festival shows – more than 25 in all – are free and no tickets are required.
