NORFOLK — For the second straight year, Sweet Briar soccer concluded its season by facing nationally-ranked Virginia Wesleyan College. This year's version saw the 8th-ranked Marlins take the game by a 7-0 decision.
Kristen Johnson '09
Vixen goalie Kristen Johnson '09 (Federal Way, Wash./Decatur) turned back 16 shots in the game. The junior finishes 2007 with her highest season saves total thus far for her career, with 216 saves this season.
Sweet Briar was 2-13-1 overall this fall and had a 0-10-1 mark in the conference.
