Play wrapped up Sunday at the 2007 ODAC Fall Women's Individual Championships held at Hollins University, with four Vixens winning consolation final matches.

Junior Shannon Schalestock (Casanova, Va./Highland School)rebounded from a 6-0,6-0 loss on Saturday to defeat Guilford's Morgan Howard 6-1, 6-0 in the semifinal round of Flight 5 consolation play. In the final match, she came back from a first-set loss to take the consolation final 4-6, 6-0, 10-7.
Senior Lieschen Cluiss (Conroe, Texas/Concordia Lutheran) also rebounded from a loss on Saturday to take her consolation final in Flight 8. She defeated Jackie Goldberg of Guilford 7-6, 6-1 in the semis before taking her final match by default.
A Sweet Briar pair took the consolation final in Flight 3 doubles. Sisters Mariah Eden '11 (The Plains, Va./Highland School) and Carlyle Eden '10 (The Plains, Va./Highland School) teamed to hand Guilford's team of Fair and Williams a 8-5 loss in the finals.
