Sweet Briar soccer wrapped up its home schedule Friday, dropping a conference game with Lynchburg College by a 6-0 score. The loss moves Sweet Briar to 2-11-0 overall, while Lynchburg improves to 13-2-1 overall.

The Hornet offense kept the Vixen defense on their toes through most of the game, getting off 44 shots in the 90 minutes. Keeper Kristen Johnson ’09 (Federal Way, Wash./Decatur) turned back 24 shots for the game.

This afternoon’s game was the last on campus for Vixens Claire Carson ’08 (Houston, Texas/Memorial), Erin Coyne ’08 (Rockville, Va./Patrick Henry) and Michele Leslie ’08 (Seneca, S.C./Seneca).
