Vixen volleyball played host to Washington and Lee University Wednesday in Old Dominion Athletic Conference action. The visitors took the match in three games 30-13, 30-17, 30-23.
Laura Jett ’11 (Littleton, Colo./ThunderRidge) set the team-high in digs preventing several kills by the General attackers. Lauren Foster ’11 (Evington, Va./Rustburg) also played well on the defense with nine digs and added another 10 assists to her climbing season total.
The Vixens are hosting a tri-match with Lynchburg College and Mountain State University as part of the College’s Homecoming Weekend on Saturday. Sweet Briar is slated to face Lynchburg at noon followed by Mountain State at 4 p.m.
