Alexander's Goal Gives Soccer Its First Win
RALEIGH, N.C. – First-year Kat Alexander’s (Marshall, N.C./Carolina Day) first collegiate goal Saturday gave Sweet Briar soccer the 1-0 win at Peace College. The road victory was the first of the fall for the Vixens who are now 1-2 overall.

The game’s lone goal came off Alexander’s foot on a set play 21 minutes into the second half. On the defensive side of the game, keeper Kristen Johnson ’09 (Federal Way, Wash./Decatur) turned back 19 Pacer shots.

The Vixens continue their stay in North Carolina tomorrow, taking on Methodist University at 2 p.m.
