BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Sweet Briar volleyball opened Pool A play Friday at the Fifth Annual Greyhound Premiere Invitational at Moravian College.
The Vixens went 0-2 on the opening day, falling 30-15, 30-21, 30-14 to Moravian and 30-23, 30-10, 30-23 in the night capper to Centenary College.
First-years Cassidy Jones (Rustburg, Va./Rustburg) and Ashley Winters (Mechanicsville, Va./Lee-Davis) combined for 17 kills and 35 digs against Centenary.
Sweet Briar moves into the Silver Bracket for day two of the tournament. The Vixens will take on Rowan University at 10 a.m. and SUNY Institute of Technology at 2 p.m.
