Rho Omega, the Sweet Briar College chapter of Sigma Delta Pi National Honor Society, initiated eight new members at an induction ceremony on April 19 in the Browsing Room of Cochran Library.
Rho Omega members were inducted April 19.The new members are Alexandra DiFeliceantonio ’08, Marissa Wikes ’07, Rebecca Cortez ’09, Gretchen McDonough ’08, Jessica Pisciotta ’09, Caroline Chappell ’09, Alexandra Hiniker ’09 and Caroline Sapp ’09.
Current member Tori Hankin and this year’s Spanish assistant, Maria Macua Camacho conducted the ceremony in Spanish.
Sigma Delta Pi honors students who excel in Spanish and exhibit a high level of interest in Hispanic cultures and the Spanish language.
