Vixens Honor Seniors as Lacrosse Ends Season with the College of Notre Dame
The Sweet Briar lacrosse season came to an end Saturday with a 19-8 loss to visiting College of Notre Dame of Maryland. With the non-conference loss, the Vixens end with a 4-13 mark on the season and a 1-7 record in the conference.

Junior Ellie Donahue (Richmond, VA/Trinity Episcopal) notched four goals in the game to finish the spring with 36. She also picked up one assist. This season's assist leader, Megan Behrle '09 (Manassas, VA/Stonewall Jackson) added another assist to her total.

Today's game was the last in a Vixen uniform for seniors Claire Bryan (Virginia Beach, VA/Norfolk Academy), Emily Fitzpatrick (Virginia Beach, VA/Norfolk Academy) and Julie Sellers (Virginia Beach, VA/Norfolk Academy). Sellers scored in the first half to run her season total to 42. In her four years at Sweet Briar she has notched 134 career goals.

Fitzpatrick stopped 226 shots this season to lead the conference. Her 697 career saves is third all-time among Vixen goalies.
