Edahl and Blincoe Victorious in Vixen Loss to E&H
SWEET BRIAR – First-years Virginia Edahl (Charlotte, NC/Providence) and Blair Blincoe (Vienna, VA/Norfolk Academy) each captured wins Sunday as rain forced the Vixens' match with Emory & Henry College indoors. The Wasps took the conference match from Sweet Briar by a score of 6-2.

Blincoe took her match at #2 6-0,6-0, while Edahl battled in three long sets to win her match at #1. After winning the first set in a tie-breaker, Edahl fell 6-4 in the second set to push the match to a third-set tie-breaker. In the tie-breaker, Edahl came out on top 10-7 to take the win.

Sweet Briar wraps up the regular season on Tuesday at Randolph-Macon Woman's College.
