SBC, Slave Cemetery Featured on Web Site
Sweet Briar College and its plantation cemetery are now featured on “African American Heritage in Virginia,” an interactive Web site designed to boost tourism at African-American historical sites in Virginia.

The site is a product of collaboration by the Virginia Foundation of the Humanities and Virginia Tourism Corporation.

According to the Web site, the VFH and VTC joined forces to “develop the African American Heritage Program as an educational and economic resource for the Commonwealth.”
