Vixens Fall to N.C. Wesleyan; Play Host to Virginia Wesleyan on Sunday
ROCKY MOUNT, NC — Minor mistakes costs Sweet Briar softball team two wins Saturday, as the team fell by scores of 10-5 and 4-3 to host North Carolina Wesleyan.

The Vixens held the lead in game two until the Bishops put three runs across in the sixth inning. At the plate, Blair Mullally ’10 (Ridgewood, NJ/Ridgewood) went a perfect 3-for-3 in the tight game with a run scored. Melissa Viar ’09 (Madison Heights, VA/Amherst County) was 1-for-3 with two RBIs.

Sweet Briar plays host to a conference doubleheader tomorrow, hosting the Virginia Wesleyan Marlins at 1 p.m.
