Vixens Wrapped Up Road Weekend

NEWPORT NEWS, Va – Sweet Briar lacrosse wrapped up a tough road weekend Sunday, with a 16-2 loss at non-conference Christopher Newport University. Senior Julie Sellers (Virginia Beach, VA/Norfolk Academy) once again led the Vixen offense, notching both Sweet Briar goals. Her first goal came with just under two minutes to play in the first half. She followed with an unassisted goal in the 47th minute.

Keeper Emily Fitzpatrick '07 (Virginia Beach, VA/Norfolk Academy) had another great game in goal for the Vixens. She picked up 12 saves on the day.

Sweet Briar's next competition is in Florida over spring break. The Vixens take on Ithaca March 14 at 4:30 p.m.
