Vixens in Beach Area For Weekend Games
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — The Vixens, playing the first of two games in the beach area this weekend, suffered a 15-2 loss Saturday at Virginia Wesleyan College. The match with the Marlins was the first conference contest for Sweet Briar, who sits at 0-2 on the young season.

Virginia Beach native, senior Julie Sellers (Virginia Beach, VA/Norfolk Academy) netted both goals for the Vixens. Fellow Virginia Beach native, Emily Fitzpatrick '07 (Virginia Beach, VA/Norfolk Academy) turned back 15 shots in goal.

Sweet Briar faces Christopher Newport University Sunday at 1 p.m.
