At 9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, Sweet Briar College will be featured on “Blue Ridge Excursions,” a program on Blue Ridge Public Television (Channel 15 in the Sweet Briar/Lynchburg area).

According to the station’s Web site, “Blue Ridge Excursions” is a “weekly trip throughout our region, connecting the people of Southwestern, Southside and Central Virginia to what is happening in their neighboring communities, and highlighting points of interest within driving distance.”

Producer Tom Landon recently visited Sweet Briar, and shot footage of the campus, Sweet Briar Museum and the Founders’ Day procession. For the program, he also spoke with Christian Carr, director of the Sweet Briar Museum; Jonathan Green, dean of the College; and Caroline Chappell ’09.
