The Wasps of Emory & Henry won the first three games Thursday for the 30-11, 30-21, 30-10 win over host Sweet Briar. On the attack for the Vixens, Lindsay Sankoff ’10 (Charleston, WV/Capital) led the way, knocking several kills down the line in the match. Libero Katie McIntyre ’10 (Lynchburg, VA/E.C. Glass) led the Vixen defense coming up with 14 digs.
Sweet Briar is back in action Saturday, hosting a tri-match with Methodist College and Mountain State University. The Vixens kick off the day with an 11 a.m. match against Methodist. Sweet Briar rounds out the day against Mountain State at 4 p.m.
